Principal's Report
Thank you to Ben Johnson and the staff for the successful running of our School Cross Country Carnivals on Wednesday (Kinder & Ludo) and Friday (Prep - Grade 6). We were blessed with typical Autumn weather, and although cold we managed to run the races successfully!
Congratulations to those students who have been selected to participate in the upcoming Catholic Schools Cross Country Carnival.
Congratulations to the 22 students who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation last Friday evening. A wonderful occasion for the students and their families. Thank you to Fr Suresh & Mrs Libby Piesse for all your work preparing for this wonderful occasion. These students will continue their Sacramental journey to work towards the Sacrament of First Eucharist on the 23rd of June. We ask you to keep them in your prayers during this important stage in their lives.
We have welcomed two new Teacher Assistants to our school over recent weeks - Mrs Megan Lee & Ms Alice Watt. Our school has also taken on three University of Tasmania Student Teachers - we welcome Sarah Moore (Grade 3 M), Grace Jacobson (Grade 1 M) & Natasha Cormie (Grade 3 B). We hope they enjoy their time in our classrooms learning their craft!
A reminder that students in grades 3-6 should be wearing black school shoes with their formal uniform, not sandshoes. As we head into the colder months, we ask you to ensure all clothing is labelled, particularly jumpers and jackets. This helps us return them promptly when left around the school.
